What is the difference between Mono-On-White and a regular photo booth
Stepping into Mono-On-White feels less like a photo booth and more like entering a private studio. Guests are guided through a professional-style session with flattering lighting, our signature white backdrop, and subtle real-time retouching that makes everyone look their best. The result isn’t just a snapshot — it’s a frame-worthy portrait that guests are proud to take home and share.
What does setup look like for Mono-On-White
Dedicated Space: We require a clear, unobstructed area measuring at least 10 feet wide by 9 feet high. This space should be against a solid wall free from any furniture, plants, or hanging decorations.
Surrounding Area: A clear perimeter of approximately 10 feet around the portrait setup is essential for guest movement and safety.
Power Source: A readily accessible power outlet is required to operate our equipment.
Outdoor Considerations: While outdoor locations can be considered, they must be fully covered to protect our setup from the elements.
For any specific questions about our setup or your venue, please utilize our general contact form. A dedicated session coordinator will be in touch to assist you.
When is the best time for the studio to be set up?
For weddings, we recommend setting up our studio during the post-dinner dance party. This allows guests to relax and enjoy the festivities while capturing memorable moments. However, we can also accommodate other schedules. Consider adding idle time between the cocktail hour and dance party to maximize photo opportunities.
Our team can efficiently photograph approximately 75 guests per hour, whether it's solo portraits, couples shots, or group photos. The more time you allocate for our studio, the more prints and portraits you'll have to cherish
Do you offer portraits in color?
Although we specialize in our timeless black & white style, we understand certain events & outfits call for colour. We have an add-on where you can receive both the black & white + colourized portraits in your online gallery for guests to enjoy both options.
Do you travel outside?
Absolutely! Mono-On-White is available for events beyond the Tri-State area. For events farther away, a travel fee may apply to cover mileage, lodging (if needed), and logistics. We’ll always provide a transparent quote up front so there are no surprises.
What are your prices?
Our packages are tailored to the style and scale of your event. Most of our clients invest between $1700 and $3000 for a full Mono-On-White experience, which includes setup, on-site staffing, unlimited sessions, and both prints and a digital gallery.
Because every celebration is unique, we’ll create a custom proposal once we know your event details, guest count, and location. This way, you only pay for what truly fits your day.
What is your payment structure?
We require a non-refundable 30% deposit to secure your date with the balance due 20 days prior to the event.
